Air blowers is a component of Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs), where they have a vital role in the treatment process. These blowers are mainly used to pump air into aeration tanks within the STP structure. Aeration tanks are critical zones where aerobic microorganisms break down organic pollutants present in sewage. The air which is supplied by the blowers creates an oxygen rich environment which is necessary for the microbial communities to grow and efficiently degrade organic matter. This biological process is important as it significantly reduces the pollutants presents in the sewage, thus purifying the water before it is discharged back into the environment or further treated. and this depends on the size and design of the STP. hence ensuring for the proper functioning and efficiency of these blowers is important not only for effective sewage treatment but also for minimizing operational costs and energy consumption related with the treatment process.
