Job Title: MEP Project Coordinator

Role Summary
The MEP Project Coordinator (core experience in PHE / FIRE) will be responsible for planning, coordinating, monitoring, and executing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities across projects, ensuring timely completion, adherence to design quality standards, code compliance and coordination among all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor all MEP engineering activities during design and implementation phases.
- Preparation/Review of PHE & FF DBR, specifications, BOQs, and technical submittals for compliance with project requirements.
- Review of Electrical & HVAC Services.
- Liaise with architects, structural consultants, contractors, vendors, and statutory authorities for smooth project execution.
- Prepare and track project schedules, progress reports, and resource requirements for MEP works.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor installation quality, workmanship, and adherence to approved drawings and specifications.
- Identify design clashes and coordinate resolution through multidisciplinary discussions stakeholders where applicable.
- Coordinate testing & commissioning, activities for HVAC, Electrical, Fire Fighting, Plumbing systems.
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, statutory requirements, and industry standards.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide regular status updates to management.
- Maintain project documentation, reports, approvals, and records.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in project planning and scheduling tools (MS Project/Primavera).
- Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures.
- Familiarity with NBC, IS codes, fire safety regulations, and relevant PHE / FF standards.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5–7 years of experience in MEP project coordination and site implementation.
- Experience in Residential, commercial, institutional, industrial, hospitality, healthcare, or large infrastructure projects.
- Good knowledge of Plumbing & Fire Fighting system along with basic knowledge of HVAC, Electrical.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
